This incredible woman made some of the finest lace available in South America
.as well as rolling her own cigars from homegrown tobacco. There is a small village called Itagua outside Asuncion, Paraguay that is known only for its fine lace and this womans family had been making lace for generations. I was on assignment for Lan Chile Airlines with writer Jim Woodman out of Miami and had traveled to every country in South America, a great assignment to say the least. But thats another story
Jim Woodman, I mean.
